Black Beauty is a book written by Anna Sewell

Plot Overview[]

Black Beauty is often known as an autobiography of a horse. The horse is a young stallion named Black (Beauty). He goes through many tough times throughout his lifetime, and meets many other horses who were mistreated and abused in their life. The novel explains how animal cruelty is inappropriate and uncalled for at all times. Anna Sewell saw a great deal of cruelty and abuse to horses, so that inspired her to write this novel.
